Bomonti Brewery completed its restoration and started interior decoration process in 2014 in order to integrate with city life through the appreciation of Istanbul residents as an industrial inheritance of Istanbul. Oğuz Bayazıt Architecture got involved in this people-oriented and city-scaled target with production management in the beginning of decoration process. The principal approach adopted and continued during the process has been to carry out the process without causing damage to historical roots of the building and through respecting it. The process concerning the integrity of evaluations is conducted during the transfer of design projects on field after evaluations were carried out in line with the considerations taken from professionals. Fire, acoustic and static consultancies which started during this stage were continued until the examinations made in the end of the implementation process.

The factory which is consisted of an independent and four in contact and, in total, five blocks, underwent a long-term periodic construction process in accordance with the requirements. These five blocks which have reconstructed indoor area unite of 13500 m² in an inner court. Operational programs have a wide range of restaurant, cafe, office, museum, brewery, concert hall and exhibition hall. The manufacturing process which continues in this context maintained these nine operations to operate within the factory. Since the inner court is of vital importance as a part of the intended life scenario, field process of this space proceeded as separate phases. Infrastructure systems are carried and distributed to factory building through a gallery line. The coordination of these systems advanced in synchronization with decoration works carried out on field and Core&Shell System was delivered to inner decoration teams on related points. The process was followed through detailing in sub branches the master-scaled work plan on the basis of block and operation for the optimization concerning the processes of teams working in the same space.

Technical support was provided to relevant teams during system control and test-implementation stages after the implementation process in factory had been completed in order that the relation stemming from its meeting with city residents can be sustainable not only during management and construction stages but also after that.
