M. Oğuz BAYAZIT

Msc. Architect

He was born in Ankara in 1970. He graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 1988 and Faculty of Architecture, İstanbul Technical University in 1992. He got his MA degree completing İTU Graduate School of Science Engineering and Technology with his thesis entitled “The Choice of the Building Envelope according To the Energy Conservation, Thermal Comfort and Construction Costs”. He worked as designer and site manager at architecture offices in Ankara and İstanbul between 1992 and 1994. He worked as a General Manager at Çelebi Holding / Çelebi Architecture Engineering between 1995 and 1997; and he completed architectural project designs and implementations of air service centers throughout Turkey. He founded his own architecture office in İstanbul in 1998. He has been carrying out his projects under the name of Oğuz Bayazıt Architecture Engineering  that he founded.

He became an expertise in many different fields with all solutions that he suggested for all stages of a building, the “first” implementations he managed and projects in which he exhibited all his knowledge and richness about architecture. He has somehow placed feasibility and structure envelope optimization that he has given importance since the years he continued MA program into all projects. Believing the importance of the design process instead of the product itself, Oğuz Bayazıt owns a performance based architecture understanding that does not handle with only pragmatic approaches that maximize one benefit or just with aesthetic concern, embracing the importance of parametric and systematic thinking and targeting to provide optimum user needs.
