DHL GF TURKEY CENTRAL OFFICE BUILDING
This is the application project of the head office of DHL Express, which is one of the leading logistics companies in the world, in Turkey. The project was designed by CM Architecture, project management was developed by PM while the architectural – electrical – mechanical applications of the project were realized by Oguz Bayazit Architecture on a turn-key basis.
The works covering shell&core and fitout applications on a 700 m2 structure located in Gunesli site have been completed in a short period of time as 94 days. The necessary studies concerning the technical issues were carried out within the framework of the features of the architectural decoration during the works and necessary revisions and the demands of the employer other than these were entered in the work program and solved within the course of the process based on the decisions taken. Arrangements were made related to Oguz Bayazıt Architecture’s area of expertise in line with the needs of DHL and it has been aimed at increasing the effectivity of the employees by means of applications of structural physics consistent with the design language. The complicated IT infrastructure, which is consistent with the global criteria of DHL was discussed and clarified with the officials of employer and project management and their applications were completed and delivered accordingly.
‘Architecture with Designers’ Panel at Architecture Week
In the second day of the Architecture Week activities at the Building-Information Center (YEM), the experts from different design disciplines have discussed architecture. ‘Architecture With Designers’ session was led by moderator Oğuz Bayazıt (Oguz Bayazıt Architectural-Founder) and Interior Architect Ali Doruk ( Net Architecture Co-Founder), Landscape Architect Arzu Nuhoğlu ( Arzu Nuhoğlu Landscape Design-Founder), Interior Architect- Lighting Designer Korhan Şişman (Planlux Founding Partner) and Acoustic Engineer Türker Talayman (Talayman Acoustic Engineering Co-Founder) participated as the speakers.
